R&R Secret Flowers is a flower farm, floral design studio, and gift shop manifesting joy and magic for all meaningful moments.

From market-style bouquets to thoughtfully designed arrangements for weddings and life's special events, we offer a wide range of floral options to help brighten your day.

Care for the Earth

Our flowers are grown on our Athens, GA small farm using organic & regenerative agriculture practices, we are Certified Naturally Grown and 100% chemical free. The farm & floral studio is fully solar powered. Our urban farm has a unique garden-like aesthetic with a wide variety of shrubs, trees & perennials that provide habitat & food for pollinators and birds. We strive to minimize our carbon footprint with everything we do on our farm. We minimize waste & limit our plastic usage. All of our packaging is compostable or reusable. We accept vase donations to repurpose them and keep them out of landfills. We believe urban agriculture has a lot to offer communities and we serve to provide an example of that. Each year our farm continues to get healthier and more robust and our flowers are all that much more beautiful because of it.

Sustainability for the People

Farming & floristry is tough work, and our hard-working year-round crew members receive good wages, flexible schedules, bonuses when sales are good, we avoid outdoor work in extreme weather conditions, and enjoy group outings & parties together. Our goal is to make flower farming a viable livelihood for all who work with us.

Growing Community

We share our love of pollinators and organic gardening with our community members through education and access to wonderful plants at our spring & fall Plant Sales. We also give back to local charities and non-profit organizations each year.

We use artistry and skill to grow the highest quality flowers to put together gorgeous & unique floral combinations in your arrangement or bouquet. From selecting seeds to designing centerpieces, our focus is on quality and artful design.

Fun & Inspired

We are constantly learning & exploring & challenging ourselves, and we have a lot of fun too! Our field and floral studio is often filled with laughter as we love what we do.

Meet R&R

Rita and Robert have been adventuring together since 2007. They spent their first magical summer together working on a small vegetable farm, and years since going on dog walks in the woods, DIY rehabbing a 100 year old house, playing music, and taking trips in their VW Vanagon camper. In 2017 they moved to Georgia and started R&R Secret Flowers.

Rita

Rita is the owner and lead farmer & florist of R&R Secret Flowers. She founded the company in 2017 after farming full-time since 2009 in other places around the country. She has completely transformed our urban farm from a once bare landscape into a bountiful & beautiful ecosystem, and loves to argue that there is ALWAYS room for more plants! She loves flower arranging and has a supreme ability to keep going and going and going.... Her obsession with flowers is rivaled only by her love of fluffy dogs and more recently, cats.

Robert

Robert is the lead coffee roaster in the company. He is passionate about good coffee and was an apprentice to a small wood-roasted coffee company for 3 years prior to moving to Georgia, where he learned to roast to perfection, the importance of freshness, quality over quantity, and sustainable sourcing. He works full-time off the farm and is the occasional market & farm assistant after hours. He is the main cook in our home and makes the most delicious pizzas. An avid commuter bicyclist, he bikes about 200 miles month, so you may see him in his brightly tie-dyed shirts biking down the street.
